[flickr-photo:id=4356775290, size=m] As we waited for Devan to arrive, thinking he would be born on Valentine's Day, we happened to take a couple playful pictures of Chantel's belly. She knew that the baby would come early, but not in two more days.

February 7, 2010: A usual morning with the wife feeling some cramps. At first, neither of us felt concerned. Then later, the cramps turned into 10 second contractions over 1 minute intervals. I assured her that we shouldn't jumped to conclusions, but even still, I (luckily) started getting the car ready. A few minutes later she says, "we need to go", and I jumped up, called my sister to take Dante, and headed to the hospital.
